I was in a café last week when I got the great news. I literally started dancing.

I did not expect it one bit. That made it even better. I have been getting a lot of support from the Notion template gallery and Notion tends to be very mysterious about how they choose their featured creators.

I assumed I have to be extremely popular within the community and make a ton of money. I only started a few months ago, so getting the recommended badge was not on my priority list.

But, when I got the badge, my perspective changed. The templates are personally approved by a team and there is a lot of quality control in the market. That's something I really love.

Most of my traffic comes from the gallery which makes my templates directly connect with Notion lovers. I do not like spending a lot of time promoting my products and prefer concentrating more on making more useful templates and the gallery brings you to my templates.

Speaking of not liking promoting my products, I shared one of my templates on Facebook. I got so many DMs that Messenger blocked me temporarily.

Although I was slightly frustrated, I have to admit its a nice problem to have :).
